I need to how to convert an oil furnace to WVO

Postby CMAenergy » Mon May 20, 2013 3:32 pm

Does anyone know the simplest and easiest way to convert an older wood and oil burning furnace to burn WVO?

There is what appears to be a tall chamber at the blower end and looks like the flame from the oil blower blows straight out into and underneath the wood burning portion.

Every thing seems to be in good condition, But I've never converted anything to burn strictly WVO

Need to know what it should look like etc

And if you got suggestions how to convert this furnace, send me an email to cma.energy(@)gmail.com and after tomorrow I may be able to send some pictures of what I have, Have to buy a camera when the stores are open.

And if you know some one who wants to get off high blood pressure med and does not know how to do it, and the Dr's won't give you advice.
like I did ,this may be helpful

Hello,

It depends what type/model of burner you have. Popular models of gun-style burners are Beckett and Carlin. Some have pressure nozzles(require <5 micron oil) and others are siphon nozzle(reqire <50micron oil)

There an awesome Yahoo group for Waste Oil Heaters, check them out at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/altfuelfurnace/
