I am selling my 1996 dodge 3500. I am the second owner of this truck and have done many of the upgrades and most of the maintenance myself over my 13 years of ownership. The truck is located in San Antonio, Tx. It has a greasecar WVO conversion with the logic controller and a separate 40 gallon tank. It also has an on-board pump and filter to fill the tank from either a grease trap or other container with waste vegetable oil.

It is a 12V cummins engine with the 215 pump and a 5spd. My truck has a later build number that's why it is a '96 with a 215 pump.

I have modified the truck to make it more reliable and set it up to tow my toys around for the last decade and a half. The engine has 4k governor springs in the pump and a #10 plate. It also has a AFE reusable intake and filter that exits through a hybrid HX-35 turbo into a 4" exhaust. It does has an 18" silencer muffler so it doesn't have the drone of a straight pipe. The timing has been advanced for increased power (currently sits at 14.5 but I had it as high as 16 and still ran fine) and the killer dowel pin has been eliminated with a new front cover. I always run Rotella diesel oil every time I changed the oil every 4-5k miles.

The truck has a pacbrake engine brake, an in cab manual fuel shut-off valve, and 40 gallon auxiliary tank for diesel in the bed that has controls in the cab.

The NV4500 was rebuilt in 2010 with the 5th gear nut eliminator kit so this transmission will not lose 5th gear. It was also rebuilt with a larger input shaft to accept a 13" clutch typically used with the NV5600. It has a 13" centerforce performance clutch.

It has a custom Knapheide work box that has 6 lockable storage cabinets. It has a turn-over ball gooseneck hitch, a class IV receiver hitch, and a tekonsha electronic brake controller.

It was built with a Dana 80 rear end with 4.11 gears and a limited slip from the factory. I have upgraded the limited slip to a tru-trac for a more solid engagement. It also has 19.5" rims and 8R 19.5 tires on each rim including a spare.

I've replaced and rebuilt most of the major components on this truck over the period of my ownership. It does come with some original parts and some additional spares that will go with the truck.
