Hot water heater ?

Postby tommc56 » Mon Apr 14, 2008 4:05 pm

Hi , I'm new to the forum but I've been reading and gathering materials and oil in preparation for converting my 93 F250 to SVO and it occurred to me that my oil fired water heater is set up pretty similar to a running diesel , in that I could circulate hot water around a filter and make HOH connections to the pump and for the last leg I could wire an electric injector line heater to insure sufficient temps at the nozzle . Anyone pondered this ?

You need to do some more general reading Tom as your questions are covered many times over and by getting a better general knowledge you will get a fuller understanding of which way is best to go for you.

Hey, not a problem. Not many are aware of the yahoo forum on oil burners.

We have a 3360 express and got a surprise astonish over the 4th. It appears that we have a major leak from the hot water heater through the engine heat exchanger lines. Anybody have any experience fixing this?
