As for spammers, may I make a suggestion that anything to do with Sleazel de-cret ( real name purposely avoided to avoid giving them any more recognition on search engines) be banned here. If it were possible to have the robots or whatever you call them trigger an alarm that holds the post or better still deletes it, so much the better,

The advertising this company uses is completely underhanded and as sleazy as I have ever seen. Their modus operandi is to make posts sound like genuine users and reverse the advert hype. The last one I saw went the usual, " Has anybody here used or had any experience with " Snake oil product"........ I am an owner operator trucker being crippled by ever increasing gas prices and looking for a simple product that will ease my fuel costs..."

There was an immediate lot of neg warnings about it as I have seen before. I wondered why they would do this then this morning when doing a search I discovered. On a search list, the snake oil product came up a 100 times. Immediately it dawned on me how this must do the same on a main search engine and what it must do for their rankings. Even bad publicity really is good publicity.

I Propose this forum not give these lowlifes any promotion whatsoever right from the start.

I'm looking forward to participating in a helpful, down to earth, Diy based forum. It's so good to finally see a veg forum on this format which seems to be the mainstay and easiest to use of them all instead of all those inferior formats.

The more I use it the more I like it. Very easy to navigate and post and edit messages. The other forums are like trying to work on your truck with just a crescent wrench, flat blade screwdriver and a dull steak knife. This is like having a full toolbox. I will be directing new users at other forums over here for access to better information.

well said.

You'll notice that there's a section called "converted vehicle database". If you have a few minutes, you should describe your car there. That way, if anyone wants to convert a similar car, they're able to see how you did yours.

I agree. If we find that such spammers start posting here, it would be best to bring the post to the administrators attention instead of replying.

There is always the possibility that a new user has only heard of that product and is looking for valid information on how to safely use VO.

Yes I can but I never liked them much since it just slows down the speed of displaying pages due to added bandwidth. I like it clean and quick like it works now.

Plus I don't have to watch and moderate the semi-porn that always ends up there. And there are some security issues with people uploading the pics to my server.

Hey Y'all :D

Muleears reporting for duty (or whatever). I must say I don't plan to ignore the other forums but the tools here are stunning in comparison. Good work and thanks Sun.

I 2nd that nomination for CG.

Good to see a lot of familiar handles. This works better than any of the other VO fuel forums I visit.
