2 tank isuzu trooper conversion WVo, lift pump needed?

Postby bellavesus » Wed May 07, 2008 10:12 pm

well ive got an 86 TD trooper i am working on , wondering if extra lift or fuel pumps are needed for the secondary fuel system, the WVO side. i am planning on running a hot fox, HOH, heated fuel filter to FPHE to injector pump. i am just wondering if the oil will create to much of a strain on the pump , should i put an extra fuel pump back by the tank? thanks in advance,
J

IMHO, yes you should.
I did a Trooper conversion 3 or 4 years ago and used a small Facet 4-7 psi with good success. The pump is still alive and working.
Be careful not to switch from Diesel to Veggie to early.
Remember you got a DI- engine.
