What to do with polymerized oil?

If you store more oil than you use for long enough, you eventually crack open a drum that smells funny. It's got the wet paint smell of polymerized oil. So, what does one do with a barrel or 3 of the stuff? Other than using it as woodstove or gassifier feed, that is. Or dirt road dust control, or methane digester and compost heap supplement. Any other uses?

Feed cows? That's what they (renderers) used to do with WVO before Bio.
As I recall.

'87F-250 stock, minus that pesky water seporator/air inlet, bone stock for now.

What about giving it to a bio maker?

I don't give a damn about what might or could happen until a significant group of people can tell me it HAS happened to them.
Until then, it's just more endless gloom and doom Veg folk law.

I recently have found myself in this situation . The oil was processed and dewatered but the barrels were not tightly sealed . It looks great but has a slight rancid odor and paint smell . Is there any way to use re-dewater and filter it to use in a 2 tank system or WVO/D@/Rug blend without damaging my vehicles. If both are out, then can oil like this be used for biodiesel feedstock ? Recommendations ?- Thanks

Check the FFA with a test strip. Rancid oil is often acidic. Avoid using it if the FFA is high unless you process it to reduce the acidity. I'd process it into biodiesel.

Chain saw bar oil.
That would be a lot of bar oil though.
91 Toyota Hiace 3L engine w/ a 300W ½” heated fuel line, lift pump, additional 10um fuel filter, and a 2nd diesel tank for starting.

88% canola WVO
11% old gasoline
.6% turpentine
.3% acetone
.1% eye of newt
