Do I need a fuel pump for the 2nd tank for vegie oil?

Postby donkeaton » Mon Dec 07, 2009 9:36 am

Hi Everyone,
New to the forum. I haven't got the whole idea for the 2 tank system because I am not sure if you need a fuel pump like a regular gas tank in the 2nd tank? I don't think I have seen anyone mentioning it. So are they all gravity feed?

The answer depends on the vehicle, they are all way different. None are gravity feed. Some you can share the stock lift pump for D2 and VO, some need an added VO pump. Look under the converted vehicle database here to see many examples.

No, it depends. And I don't understand "cars with a float".
