There are 1000s of systems using TiH, and few reports of problems.
It's your vehicle, and if you think the unnecessary extra complexity, extra expense and extra risk is worth it with catastrophic engine failure if coolant gets into the fuel then go right ahead.

I don't see the point when a properly sized FPHE provides all the necessary heat IF it's connected on a separate loop as recommended.

No vehicle or aircraft manufacturer uses a TIH configuration, for good reason.

Think it through, consider the level of risk you're comfortable with and do whatever you think is best in your particular situation.

Some people consider wearing seat belts totally unnecessary, until that moment just before they crash.

As far as sharing the filter goes, the problem is that the diesel will find the path of least resistance through the veg oil. This will create a "channel" for the diesel thru the veg oil, and the veg oil will never be completely purged.

fair enough, that seems reasonable. ive been convinced to go with separate filters.
