I like the simplicity of the FPHE insulator/protector.

My personal experience with the 90o fittings I have: they interfere with each other once you get one on and the other is so close to it that it can't turn a full turn. Yet, in the above pic, that isn't an issue. Is it because of the height differences in the barbs and order of installation (smaller first)?

HoldOnTight

as you said, interference is no issue since the fittings „swiffel’ to any wanted position.
Only then you do tighten the nuts as the last step.
Equally easy is disconnecting the water or fuel lines again

Everybody seems to love my new insulation box.
Well, at least a positive response to a large investment.

Thanks

Honestly Klaus, I wish I had bought my HEs from you in the first place, instead of buying off E-Bay..

I got a great deal off E-Bay, but the ports were threaded MALE and required male-to-female intermediate fittings before the actual hosebarb fittings were installed. Because I chose stainless, I paid through the nose...

Anyway, I wound up with 3 FPHEs that had fittings that cost almost half of what the HEs cost. The intermediate fittings were reasonably priced, but because they were relatively rare reducers and intended to match two different pipe sizes, they cost significantly more than if I had just bought your female ported HEs in the first place. At least 6 of the 12 ports were able to be made female with commonly available cheaper pipe couplings, so that lessened the pain a bit.

I know you and I have had our dissagreeable words in the past, but if you'd still sell to me, I'd be happy to buy one of your female ported FPHEs. The ones I've got put together now were a good deal, but the extra fittings not only added cost, but added height as well. Now I've got 3 HEs that are an extra 1 inch tall, due to the reducers and couplers I had to add. If a 90 degree elbow were added, the overall height would be increased by about another inch.

If you sold over E-Bay, you'd likely take over a larhe chunk of FPHE sales.

Two of these HEs will be installed in the back of my truck both before and after my SVOpump/filter setup, but I'd really like to buy one of your 20 plate HEs to install up near the IP.

Hi Jeff,

it would be a pleasure to help you out.
Waiting to receive your order

Klaus

PS : I may have to go the ebay route.
Farming is so bad I had to create a more stable income.
Importing Diesel cars from Germany did help a lot, too.
Why don't you buy one of my 3 BMW's Wink

Hi Klaus.

Normally I wouldn't respond to a PM on a public thread, but since I also responded privately, I'll come back here and pass on some good news:

I was happy to learn that you PayPal, so in case other guys also wanted to buy stuff from you, I thought I should tell people so it's easier for them to buy from you.

I hope you don't mind me telling everyone that you accept PayPal. Personally, I think PayPal is great!

I never use my Visa directly on the internet. I have it hooked it up to my PayPal account.

Thanks Jeff !

Usually people send me their postal code and I reply with the shipping & insurance cost. ( I use Canada Post, Expedited Parcel )
If that is accepted I'll send a Proforma Invoive and a Paypal Money Request.

Hi again Klaus.

I paid for my order via PayPal a couple days ago. PayPal sent me the reciept. I haven't heard anything from you yet, but that's okay. I know you are a very busy guy.

I'm really impressed with the quality apparent in your advertising photos. I can hardly wait to get my hands on one.

I really hope you get more swivel fittings soon, so I can buy 3 sets and refit my other FPHEs with proper fittings instead of the ugly ones that I've got on them now.

E-Bay would love your FPHEs, man! I've never seen those professional looking insulation boxes on E-Bay yet and I think they'd sell like hotcakes!

There would likely be a lot customers on E-Bay who already bough FPHEs from other vendors, but want to buy your excellent quality fittings and insulation boxes. It might make sense to charge a little bit extra since their accessories aren't part of your complete packages. $10 extra per order might be fair. The idea is to encourage people to buy a complete set from you without discouraging them from buying your accessories for their existing FPHEs.

Hi Jeff,

The Eastern Holidays delayed your shipment .Remember it is snail mail ….
I hope the quality will satisfy you. I sold a lot of FPHE’s before without the Insulation box and with straight fittings only. Till today I have not had any complain.
As I said I may go the E-Bay route …
The Box improves the heat transfer and the elbow fittings make the installation way easier.
Thanks again for buying.

Klaus
